The St. The Louis Cardinals’ new City Connect uniforms will make their official debut next week. However, just like with many of the City Connect designs, the official uniform has now leaked on social media. I enjoy Katie Woo’s description of them. They aren’t bad, but they don’t really inspire. They’re pretty safe. Although I’m looking forward to wearing a red uniform, they could have done much better overall.

However, they could have done much worse, which was exactly what I anticipated. Over the past few seasons, the White Sox’s all-black uniform, the Nationals’ cherry blossom uniform, the Brewers’ “Brew Crew,” and others stand out as exceptional City Connect uniforms. However, there have also been extremely subpar uniforms, such as those worn by the Phillies and Dodgers. The problem with uniforms is that people end up having a variety of opinions about them all. This makes uniforms pretty subjective. ” The city of Saint Louis is often referred to as “The Lou.” Louis. The Mississippi River is honored by the river pinstripes. The sleeve’s fleur de lis and arch represent two significant St. Louis’s past The font on the STL cap is identical to that on the team’s uniforms from 1920 to 21. Additionally, the “birth” of the Cardinals franchise is commemorated by the year 1882 on the collar. To be honest, how they managed to fit all of that into one uniform is pretty impressive. The official launch is on May 20. Until it plays in a game on Saturday, May 25 against the Chicago Cubs, the merchandise will only be sold through Cardinals-related stores. Chip Caray and Joe Buck will call a game from the Cardinals booth the day before the Cardinals first debut their uniforms, reuniting the Caray/Buck lineage that was the voice of Cardinals baseball for decades.
