BREAKING NEWS: Manager still intends to sign £4 million Rangers star player after the agreement has only six days to be completed.

Manager not giving up on signing £4m Rangers ace but has 6 days to do

The Turkish transfer window is about to close in six days. Galatasaray may have missed the opportunity to return Ridvan Yilmaz to the Bosphorus banks, but the Super Lig contenders will not be easily defeated.

Galatasaray is expected to pursue further negotiations with Rangers. The valuations of the two clubs, however, differ by £2 million, with Buruk’s willing to spend twice as much as Philippe Clement’s Glasgow giants are requesting for the former Besiktas flier.

Furthermore, it seems unlikely that Rangers will rush to reach a deal with Galatasaray given that Clement will not be able to find a replacement in time for the busy final few months of a season that could still result in a Premiership title. The Scottish window closed two days ago.

Ridvan Yilmaz is still a Rangers player

“At left back, Kaan Ayhan, Baris Alper Yilmaz, and Berkan Kutlu have all performed admirably. Burak tells Sporx, “I am happy with all three of them,” after being forced to push his team to the edge because of Galatasaray’s defensive shortcomings.

“Galatasaray management does as we please. We always have our president with us. We can use it in the Turkish League if a transfer is required in the next days.

“We will assess the possibility of a transfer if it presents itself.”

Galatasaray offers £2m, while the Gers demand £4m.

Throughout January, Rangers were linked to several left-backs; however, the closest they got to signing one was when they agreed to terms with Fluminense to bring Jefte Vital, 20, to Ibrox.

Talks came down, according to Fabrizio Romano, when Jefte’s temporary employers, APOEL Nicosia, who signed him on a season-long loan last summer, refused to let him leave Cyprus. The Brazilian then apologized to them after the window closed.

“I would want to apologize to all APOEL supporters, my teammates, the coach, the president, and the entire club staff for my absence from training. I didn’t feel like I could help the club at the time of the incident, so I made the decision to leave,” Jefte says.

“The institution, as it has been over the past few months and as it will going forward, deserves all of my devotion, attention, and dedication.

“We are still as strong as ever and are fully committed to achieving our primary goal of winning the championship.”
