Browns: Denico Autry, Jerry Jeudy other NFL trade deadline targets

The Cleveland Browns finished the 2023 NFL season with 11 victories and made it to the postseason for the second time in four years, but a disappointing end due to a crushing 45-14 loss to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round. The Browns anticipate having a talented bunch by 2024, but they will need to make additions to strengthen the squad in a few crucial areas.

In light of general manager Andrew Berry’s track record of locating exceptional value in off-season transactions (see: Amari Cooper), Cleveland is likely to be active in the spring trade market once more. In this article, we examine four players from the league who Berry might be considering if he decides to go big game hunting.

4 huge trade ideas for Cleveland Browns that could reshape division race for 2023
Rumors about Jerry Jeudy and the Browns dating back to the spring of 2023, when the Broncos were coming off a dismal 5-12 season in Russell Wilson’s debut season in Denver, had been around for a long. Jeudy, an Alabama product and the 15th overall choice in the 2020 draft, has outstanding size for the position at 6’1″, 193 pounds, with a 40-yard sprint time of 4.4.

Due to his long-term rising disappointments in Denver, he may become available on the trade market. Jeudy would provide the Browns with a much-needed down-field receiving option for the offense in new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey’s shotgun design because of his mix of size and speed.

Elijah Moore was in a similar scenario in New York, and Andrew Berry sent a Day 2 selection pick to the Jets for him last year. Maybe he gives it another go with Jeudy this time.
