Jim Harbaugh, the recently hired head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, is pleased with his team’s hiring process so far. In a recent interview, the former head coach of the University of Michigan Wolverines discussed how his current position compares to his previous football positions at this stage of the hiring process with Hannah Storm of ESPN.
“Hannah, it’s coming together really well,” Harbaugh said. “I would call this… it’s the best darn job I’ve ever had to start out with.” “Dean Spanos, the owner, is the first,” Harbaugh said.
“Everyone in the company is incredibly cohesive and focused on their goals. He shows respect to others, and everyone in the company benefits from that. And in return, you treat others with the same respect—if not more. To begin with, this has been the best job I’ve ever had as a coach or player, and I’ve observed that.
