Early in October 2022, Davante Adams came under fire for pushing a photographer during the Las Vegas Raiders’ 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. The incident occurred so long ago that many people have forgotten about it. But the NFL has finally issued a decision about the matter.
Adams won’t be disciplined by the league for his behavior, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Even though a misdemeanor charge was dropped the previous summer, the NFL ended its investigation just in time for Super Bowl 58.

According to reports, the NFL told Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams he wouldn’t face any consequences for pushing a photographer after a 2022 game in Kansas City. Adams’ misdemeanor assault charge was dropped by the prosecution last summer, but the league investigation was still ongoing. It is now closed.

Frustrated, Adams shoved the photographer and apologized nearly instantly. Nevertheless, Park Zebley, the photographer, filed a lawsuit regarding the event. Finally, the wide receiver for the Raiders can move on from it after almost a year and a half. Nothing too serious ever came of the issue. It is fortunate because Davante Adams didn’t exactly beat the man up.

For the Raiders, the seasoned wide receiver had yet another successful campaign. Out of 103 receptions, he finished with 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns. Adams ought to keep doing well on the field for Las Vegas. Despite the fact that the team has an out on his contract in 2025, he won’t be eligible for free agency until 2027. It’s difficult to picture the front office moving on from him, though, given that he doesn’t seem to be losing any ground.
With that said, Adams can now put all of this photographer drama behind him and concentrate on football. In order to increase their chances of making the playoffs the following season, the Raiders will try to build around him this offseason.
