Julius Peppers Shares Real Thoughts About Being Selected for the Hall of Fame
The NFL announced the newest class of players to be inducted into the Hall of Fame prior to the Kansas City Chiefs destroying the San Francisco 49ers to win the Super Bowl. Julius Peppers, an outside linebacker who spent three seasons with the Green Bay Packers, was one of those mentioned.
The NFL recently unveiled the contemporary inductees in Las Vegas, home of Super Bowl LVIII, as part of an Honors event. Because of the many years he spent playing for clubs like the Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, and Green Bay Packers, Peppers was one of those honorees.
It is appropriate that Pepper be inducted into the Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions in the NFL. He is currently among the select few players who were selected to the league’s All-Decade team for the 2000s and 2010s. He also holds the fourth-place spot on the all-time sacks record.
Even though Peppers played for the Carolina Panthers for the majority of his career, his stint in Green Bay was still one of his best NFL seasons. One of his greatest moments as a Packers player was being selected to the Pro Bowl in 2015.

It feels fantastic. It still seems unreal. Being a part of the greatest players to ever play the game, in a fraternity of select players, is still a little surreal, Peppers said to Steve Wyche of NFL Network. The players who approached and greeted us on stage tonight are people I’ve always looked up to. The Lewises, Ray. The Charles Haleys and Michael Irvins. All of Peppers’ outstanding achievements in the NFL is validated by his induction into the Hall of Fame. Furthermore, he accomplished incredible things with the Packers in addition to the Panthers, despite the fact that his career is primarily linked to them.
