The Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers are the most recent teams in the NFL to express their sincere condolences for the senseless and horrific incident that occurred at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl championship celebration.
The Steelers shared this message on social media following the terrible shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl rally, offering their condolences to everyone affected by the violent crime.
Pittsburgh posted on their X social media page, saying, “Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, the Kansas City community, and Chiefs Kingdom.” Carolina then made their own post in response to that.

Stacey Graves, the chief of police in Kansas City, reports that one person has died and that 22 more have been shot. Out of the 22 injuries sustained, eight patients have been admitted to the hospital due to “immediate life-threatening injuries,” while the remaining six have minor injuries.

Regarding the shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade in Kansas City, the NFL has issued a statement. A single individual lost their life, while several others were hospitalized due to injuries.
Police said two people were taken into custody after the shooting, which took place as the Chiefs’ celebration was wrapping up Wednesday afternoon. Shots broke out at the end of the route near Kansas City’s Union Station as the franchise was celebrating its second straight title.
“We are deeply saddened by the senseless shooting that occurred today near the end of the rally in Kansas City for the Chiefs,” the statement read. “Our thoughts are with the victims and everyone affected. We are grateful for the quick and thorough response of law enforcement and emergency personnel.”
Police reported a shooting outside the Union Station parking garage at 2:13 p.m. CT on Wednesday, over three hours after Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs began their Super Bowl parade.
Chief of police for Kansas City, Stacey Graves, stated on Wednesday night that one person had died and that the number of injuries had risen to 22. Graves added that three individuals had been placed under arrest.
Graves declared, “We have confirmed there is one deceased person.” “There are now 22 bullet wounds on our team. And [we] will provide that a little bit more background information. We’re still working on a total number of victims as of right now. The probe is still ongoing. For today’s incident, three people are in custody and are the subject of an inquiry. We’re at work.
