In 2024, the Michigan Wolverines hope to continue their hold on the Big Ten title. They won’t have many of their coaching staff from the previous season to help them. Many coordinators left to join Jim Harbaugh in the NFL. The linebacker’s coach is one post that has been vacant for some time. After being let go in November, Chris Partridge never found another job. Former Tennessee Volunteers coach Brian Jean-Mary was appointed as the new linebackers coach by head coach Sherrone Moore.
Jean-Mary will coordinate the defensive run game in addition to coaching the linebackers. He will be living in Ann Arbor for the second time. In 2020, he was a member of the team for the COVID-19 epidemic season. Jean-Mary moved to Knoxville to coach, and she has remained there ever since. He is an expert in hiring. Jean-Mary recruited both Jaydon Hood and Junior Colson. He is familiar with the southern region of the country because he is from Florida.
Even though Michigan is losing a lot of its key players, this squad is still dangerous. Although Sherrone Moore has assembled a skilled team, not many players have altered their minds about the program thus far. Actually, it appears that the recruiting trail is moving along quite nicely. Jean-Mary’s arrival will be very beneficial on the trail. He’s shown he can attract elite players, and he’ll probably do it once again.
