Dennis Gjengaar, a Norwegian winger, has completed his transfer from Odds BK to the New York Red Bulls.
Franklin, New Jersey (February 16, 2024) — Dennis Gjengaar, a Norwegian winger, has joined the New York Red Bulls for an undisclosed transfer fee, the team announced today. In anticipation of receiving his P-1 visa and ITC, Gjengaar inks a four-year MLS contract through 2027, with an option to extend till 2028 as a U-22 Initiative player.
The 19-year-old Gjengaar played in the Eliteserien for Odds BK for the previous two seasons, making 39 games while tallying two assists and seven goals. The midfielder recorded a brace in the encounter and scored his debut goal as a professional in a 3-1 victory over Sandefjord.
