The former Celtics player acknowledged that the team is currently facing numerous problems due to injuries and other challenges, but he pushed Brendan Rodgers to demonstrate his coaching abilities.
After their win, Rangers closed the gap between the Old Firm clubs and went two points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership. Rodgers’ team now has to lead the pursuing group.
In a live broadcast by Sky Sports [February 18, 14:22] “Listen to Philippe Clement talk there; it’s about the next game; you can’t look too far ahead,” Sutton suggested.

Could Rangers defeat Celtic to win the SPFL championship?

Although the season at Ibrox has been crazy thus far, they now need to show that they can be as impressive at the top of the table as they were when chasing. They have surpassed their bitter rivals.
Since his arrival, Clement’s attitude has garnered so much praise that even Sutton is now urging Celtic to heed the words of a Rangers boss in an effort to climb back to the top of the table.
It has appeared to be a close race ever since the Ibrox team managed to get back into the title fight; both teams knew coming into each game that a mistake would give their opponents a chance, and it was Celtic who made the first mistake, allowing Gers to grab the lead.
Rangers currently hold the lead and must demonstrate that they can handle the pressure of having Celtic chasing them. It has never been evident which team will push ahead of the other.
In other Rangers news, after what the Rangers did, there has been conjecture about Rodgers’ departure.
