BREAKING NEWS: Boston celtic good performance in 76ers game.
Good news about the 76ers game keeps coming.
Boston — In addition to their winning ways, the Celtics are the best team in the NBA because they are healthy. The C’s good news kept rolling in as they had no injuries to report before their Wednesday night game at TD Garden versus the 76ers at 7:30 p.m.
Before their victory in New York on Saturday, the C’s had no injuries to report either. All of those indicate that the Celtics, who have a commanding lead in the East, will be able to make wise player decisions going forward.
Conversely, the Sixers have suffered injuries, primarily to their star big man Joel Embiid, the MVP candidate, whom they are hoping to recover in time for the postseason.
With a 45-12 record, the Celtics have a 7.5-game advantage over the Cavaliers, who are in second place. The C’s should be able to hold onto their East-best record with just 25 games remaining in the season. Since before the All-Star break, Boston has won their last eight games.
With Embiid sidelined, the 33–24 Sixers are trying to hold onto their season. Tyrese Maxey, an All-Star guard, is enjoying a breakthrough season as he aims to keep up his outstanding play. This Tuesday’s game marks the final regular-season meeting between the C’s and the Sixers, who are already 2-1 against each other this season.
